Welcome to The Optimist Club of Stanley Park's new website 

There's a lot of history here ... and lots more to be made!  You're welcome to join us and help make it happen. 

Chartered on November 30, 1984, the Optimist Club of Stanley Park was sponsored by the Optimist Club of Kitchener-Waterloo. The Stanley Park Club operates as a "not-for-profit" organization under the Optimist International  umbrella. The prime objective is to "Bring out the Best in Kids" (and ourselves) as "Friends of Youth".  Since 2008, the Club has been co-ed.

Funding for the Club's initiatives comes from several sources of income including: particpation fees, sponsorships, grants, and fundraising activities such as hosting bingo sessions.
